Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@motomentor.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Our guided motorcycle tours offer a blend of adventure, exploration, and camaraderie. Expect well-planned routes through breathtaking landscapes, expert guidance from experienced tour leaders, and opportunities to experience local culture, food, and hidden gems. Each day consists of scheduled riding hours, scenic stops, and comfortable accommodations to ensure a memorable experience.

Pillions are permitted only if they accompany a rider who is already registered for the ride. The registered rider is entirely responsible for the safety, conduct, and well-being of their pillion throughout the journey. Pillions cannot register independently and must be linked to a registered rider. Additionally, it is mandatory for pillions to wear full riding gear, including a certified helmet, riding jacket, gloves, riding pants, and boots, to ensure maximum safety.

Our tours cater to various skill levels, from beginners to experienced motorcyclists. Each tour specifies its difficulty level, including factors like terrain type, daily riding distance, and technical challenges. Riders should be comfortable handling their bike on highways and basic off-road conditions. Preparatory training sessions or practice rides can be arranged upon request.

Safety is a priority, and we require all riders to wear essential protective gear, including:

  • A DOT/ECE-certified helmet
  • Protective riding jacket and pants with armor
  • Riding gloves and sturdy boots
  • Eye protection (visor or riding glasses)
  • Weather-appropriate gear (rain suits, thermal liners, etc.)
  • A hydration pack for longer rides

A detailed packing checklist will be provided before the tour. Rental gear may also be available upon request.

We ensure comfortable stays at handpicked accommodations, including campsites, heritage stays, eco stays, and farm stays with mostly dual-sharing or community stay arrangements. Expect clean, safe, and rider-friendly lodging with amenities like secure parking, WiFi, and hot showers. Room-sharing options are available for group tours, and private rooms can be arranged at an additional cost. Rest assured, every accommodation is chosen to provide a relaxing and immersive experience in nature and culture.

Since our rides take us to remote locations, we recommend choosing between vegetarian or non-vegetarian meal options. Unfortunately, we may not be able to cater to specific dietary requirements. We can check with the accommodation regarding special meal requests, but availability is not guaranteed. However, based on health conditions, we will try our best to ensure timely meal availability for all riders.

  • Booking Confirmation: A deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due before the tour starts.
  • Cancellation Policy: Refunds depend on the cancellation timeline. Cancellations made within a specific period may be eligible for a partial refund, while last-minute cancellations may be non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, we offer flexible options based on availability. However, tour spots are non-transferable.
  • Insurance: We recommend riders obtain travel and trip cancellation insurance for added security.

For detailed payment and refund policies, refer to our Terms & Conditions page or contact our team for personalized assistance.

To participate in the tour, riders must carry and verify the following documents:

  • A valid motorcycle driving license (specific to the country of travel, if applicable)
  • Motorcycle registration documents (if using your own bike)
  • Proof of insurance covering third-party liability and personal injury
  • Any required permits or passes for restricted areas
  • Identification proof (passport, Aadhaar card, etc., depending on location)

Yes, all participants must review and sign the necessary documents before the tour begins. These include:

  • Liability Waiver: Acknowledging the inherent risks of motorcycle touring.
  • Medical Declaration: Confirming fitness to participate in the ride.
  • Rental Agreement (if applicable): If renting a motorcycle through us, a rental contract will need to be signed.

We advise all riders to read these documents carefully before signing. Digital copies will be shared before the tour, and physical copies will be signed at the briefing session before departure.

It is important to inform us in advance about any medical conditions that may affect your participation in the tour. Riders should:

  • Carry prescribed medications and ensure an adequate supply for the duration of the trip.
  • Inform the tour leader of any severe allergies, chronic conditions, or medical concerns.
  • Bring a personal medical kit with essentials like pain relievers, antihistamines, and first-aid supplies.
  • Ensure that medical insurance covers emergency care and treatment during the tour.

If you have specific health requirements, please reach out to our team so we can make necessary accommodations.

At MotoMentor, we do not provide alcohol or support drinking late into the night prior to the ride. However, riders are responsible for carrying their own alcohol and ensuring they comply with local laws while traveling across borders. We insist that all participants act responsibly and maintain decorum, ensuring their behavior does not disturb others. MotoMentor reserves the right to deny service in cases of inappropriate or disruptive behavior.
